Booking Terms

Bookings are confirmed in writing once a deposit has been received and we have issued a written booking confirmation. Availability is not held until this happens.

Deposit amounts, balance due dates and accepted payment methods are provided with your written quotation. These vary by journey, season and supplier requirements.

Cancellation charges depend on the components of your journey (lodges, flights, permits) and are provided in writing with your quote. Some elements — for example gorilla and chimpanzee permits — are non-refundable once purchased.

Occasionally we may need to change part of your journey due to circumstances outside our control (weather, wildlife movements, park regulations, supplier changes). Where this happens, we will offer the closest equivalent alternative at no extra cost where possible.

Comprehensive travel insurance is a condition of travelling with us. Your policy should cover medical care, evacuation, trip cancellation and personal belongings for the duration of your journey.

You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, any required visas and any recommended vaccinations for your itinerary. We are happy to share general guidance, but the final responsibility rests with the traveller.

If something is not right during your safari, please tell your guide or contact our office immediately so we can put it right on the ground. Written complaints after travel should be sent to hello@wildluxexpeditions.co.tz within 28 days of your return.

These booking terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
