This seasonal private safari follows the northern circuit towards the Mara River region, combining Tarangire and Ngorongoro with three Serengeti nights: one in the centre and two in the north. It is designed for July to October, when the northern ecosystem often hosts migrating herds, although their location depends on rain and grazing.
Crossings are unpredictable and patient waiting is part of the experience. The itinerary remains rewarding through resident wildlife and northern landscapes even when no crossing occurs. The return from northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro is a long road day; an extra central Serengeti night is a worthwhile quoted extension for travellers who prefer a gentler pace.

An unhurried first evening leaves you ready for the road ahead.
