For travellers with limited time who still want a proper Serengeti stay, this four-day journey brings together open plains and the Ngorongoro Crater. Begin in Arusha, travel to the central Serengeti for two nights, then spend the third night at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge before your crater descent.
The emphasis is on the central Serengeti’s resident wildlife, with one full day to explore and additional viewing on the travel days. The itinerary does not stretch north to the Mara River or promise a migration encounter. An Arusha stay before the safari is recommended so you can begin the first day early.

Meet your Wildlux guide in Arusha early in the morning and begin the road journey through the highlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Carry a picnic lunch and allow time for park formalities before entering the central Serengeti. Wildlife viewing begins along the approach to camp, with the day’s pace determined by road conditions and the need to arrive before dark. Settle into your tented accommodation for the first of two Serengeti nights.
